I like to get dressed up. It’s a fun thing to do on occasion. But let’s be real—most days it’s a mad dash to the door and I’ve thrown on the clothes that were closest to my body at that given moment. I have a deep bench of cute and cozy sweaters and tees to mix and match on my busiest days, but last week I found the white tee of all white tees. It’s casual, absolutely adorable, and less than $30.
I *really* like everything about this outfit, but this t-shirt is my new favorite thing. I like long and flowwy tops, so when I saw this online, I knew it would be in my closet by the week’s end. I will buy anything that I know I will be able to wear often and a bunch of different ways, and this white tee is so versatile—making the purchase was a no brainer! What I really like about it is it’s comfortable and easy like any plain t-shirt, but the cool hemline takes the style to a whole new level.
This t-shirt is 100% cotton, so you know it will be comfortable. I’ve worn mine under cardigans like this one, as well as my favorite faux leather jacket and more heavy-duty coats. Dress is up with a pair of pumps or throw on your favorite flats to run errands. There’s so much you can do with this top.
Also, these black jeans are INCREDIBLE. I can’t believe they’re only $75. Madewell seriously knows how to make a pair of jeans. I bought a different black pair of jeans late last year that looked like high waters on me, so when I tried these on I was pumped. I’m 5’9”, and they come to right at my ankle. Also, keep in mind that they’re high-waisted.
I went on a rant yesterday about how great these black pumps are for work. I have worn mine 9+ hours during my workday a couple of times and haven’t had any real issues. The heel is nice and thick for comfort while the ankle strap keeps your foot in place. They are SUPER affordable, so if you’re in search of a pair of simple black heels that you can wear to work all day, I highly recommend these. And everyone is different when in comes to tolerating high heels, so if they end up not working for you for long periods of time, it’s not a huge investment.
I hope you all have a wonderful Friday. Stay warm!
