We are just under two weeks away from the first day of fall. It’s crazy to think we’re already trading out our favorite sundresses for cozy sweaters, but I am SO READY for it. Fall is by far my favorite time of year. I love the clothes, the hot coffee, and the fact that we can go outside for more than five minutes without breaking a sweat.
This billowy olive green top perfectly represents how I do fall style. I love the pretty dark color, the dramatic sleeves, and how easily it can be dressed up or dressed down. This look is kind of in between dressy and casual with a bold necklace and black jeans. I would easily wear this on casual Friday or to grab drinks with the girls after work. Swap the booties for a pair of flats, and you have a great day-to-day outfit when you have a million things to do and no time for fussy shoes.
I talk about versatility a lot in my blog posts, and this top fits right in with that theme. There are a ton of ways to style this top for different occasions. Pair it with lighter jeans and a pair of mules for running errands, strappy black heels and a sparkly bag for a spontaneous date night, and black cropped pants and pointy-toe pumps for the office. The options are endless with this top, and you will definitely get a ton of wear out of this top for $72.
On a personal note, Cody and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary over the weekend. He went above and beyond to spoil me, and I’m on cloud this morning thinking about how lucky I am to have him in my life! Cody and I met on Tinder just under four years ago (GAH, Tinder!!). I’m planning a couple of relationship posts to expound on how we met, as well as how our first year of marriage went. Plus, we’re going to write a post about the dos and don’ts of dating apps. I think having a male perspective on this would be awesome and super helpful for any of your who are doing the Tinder, Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel, etc. grind right now, so I’m looking forward to sharing this with you all.
