Dallas is a hotspot for great eats. I could create a year’s worth of blog posts about where to eat in and around the city. But today, I want to focus on a handful of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops that are not only worthy of a bite—but also a look. Whether you’re a Dallas native looking for a change of venue or a visitor in search of a cute place to sit down and relax, there are a TON of pretty places to eat around town. Here are my top picks for the most Instagrammable restaurants in Dallas.
THE MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE RESTAURANTS IN DALLAS | CUTE PLACES TO EAT
Mercat Bistro is a Parisian escape in the heart of Dallas’ Harwood District. Marble tabletops, antique tableware, European-style chairs, and delicate details leave the impression that nothing about this restaurant’s design was an afterthought.
The bar area is the heart of Grayson Social. Gorgeous navy tufted chairs are fixed alongside a long marble bar top. Whimsical wallpaper and a dramatic mirror set the backdrop behind the bar for a city chic spot to stop for a drink and dinner.
Magnolias: Sous Le Pont
I remember when Magnolia’s first opened in Dallas. Photos of the eye-catching blue exterior immediately began popping up on Instagram, giving this quaint cafe in the Harwood District the reputation of Dallas’ most-photographed coffee shop. Even the coffee is pretty!
Village Baking Co. Boulangerie
Village Baking Co. Boulangerie is another European-style place to stop for a coffee and croissant. You can also pick up sandwiches and desserts at this cute, quaint spot on Lower Greenville. Woven chairs, sophisticated decor, marble tables, and gold accessories make this bakery a must-see for Instagrammers.
Saint Ann is one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas, as the atmosphere is as good—if not better—than the food. When I first moved to Uptown, I could walk to this lively garden patio restaurant. Pretty greenery, white umbrellas, incredible views, an oversized chess board, and delicious food make this a place to visit whether you’re a Dallas native or a visitor.
“Let them eat cake!” Bird Bakery is most famous for its pink neon sign declaring its patrons eat cake. This bakery and coffee shop also boasts Instagram-worthy tables and chairs, as well as an adorable store front with baby blue and grey details.
Americano is the coolest restaurant on Main Street in downtown. The bright turquoise tabletops have become something of an institution that everyone in the city can recognize in an Instagram photo. Even the tile floors have a high-design feel, and the food is almost too pretty to eat.
Internet Cafe 2
Internet Cafe 2 is new to Dallas, and the owners did not skimp on creativity when designing this coffee shop. The moment you drive up to Internet Cafe 2, the hot pink door should be an indication of what’s in store inside. Pink walls, couches, coffee mugs—even a pink toilet—make this place a truly unique gem.
When you think of Dallas brunch—you think of Breadwinners. This spot has been around forever, and every square inch looks like it’s ready for a close up. The white exterior is covered in green vines, and the interiors feature exposed brick, antique doors and windows, Chinese Chippendale chairs, and mix-matched tables. Every nook and cranny of this Dallas institution is Instagram ready.
