San Francisco Bachelorette Party

In the midst of all of the chaos that is wedding planning, I FINALLY had my bachelorette party (or should I say bachella party) over the weekend. Words cannot describe how amazing my sweet friends are! As if ten of my best gal pals flying across the country for a weekend of wine tastings wasn’t enough, they nailed the theme perfectly, which was all about Coachella. Yes, my weekend was full of flower crowns (thanks so much to McCall, the fantastic mind behind Babe Blooms), boho vibes, flash tattoos (still can’t get mine off), and California sunshine.

So today, I wanted to share some photos of the weekend with you guys along with tips on what to do in San Francisco if you ever visit with your girlfriends. If you’re the kind of babe who loves food, wine, amazing views, and Instagram-worthy shops, stores, and cafés on every corner, a trip to Northern California is the place for you!

Once everyone landed in San Francisco, the first thing on our minds was BRUNCH. We headed straight for Sweet Maple Café in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood. I won’t lie and say we went for any reason other than bottomless mimosas and their famous bacon, because that’s exactly why we went there. The food was fantastic, and our glasses were never void of champagne and orange juice. The photo at the very bottom of this post was the result of eating here for brunch.

We then headed to the Fisherman’s Wharf to check out those famous San Francisco views of the bay. I won’t lie and say we didn’t stop for rosé at a wine bar on the pier, because that’s exactly what we did. We also stopped to watch the seals nap on the dock for a bit, visited Ghirardelli Square, and eventually made it to dinner at a tasty Italian food restaurant.

The next morning we had an early wake-up call to head out to Sonoma for a day of wine tastings! We had a tour company pick us up, and off we went to Simi (one of my and Cody’s favorite wine brands), Paradise Ridge, and Matanzas Creek wineries. Matanzas Creek is where we got the gorgeous photos in a lavender field (I just about lost my mind when we pulled up here and saw all of the lavender).

After spending the day in Sonoma, we made our way back to San Francisco and went to dinner at Park Tavern, which was a real treat. From there, we hit the town for bachelorette-esque activities! Needless-to-say, we were all exhausted on Sunday morning and in need excessive amounts of coffee at Caffé Fiore, where we had breakfast.

Every corner of San Fransisco has something gorgeous and chock-full of character. Other places we stopped at were Jane on Fillmore, The Bud Stop, and Oak Village Grocery.

I cannot thank the girls, Ashley, Becca, Kayla, Nicole, Laura K., Laura W., Megan, Erin, Summer, and Marie, enough for making the weekend so special! I adore all of you! Another shoutout to McCall Chenot of Babe Blooms for making our stunning flower crowns in a hurry. We loved them so much!

XO,
Cameron
