Have Yourself a Chic Galentine’s Day
Good morning, beauties! We are already six days into February, which means the holiday of L.O.V.E is sneaking up on us fast and furiously. I’m going to dish a little bit about my and Cody’s plans for Valentine’s Day this year, but I’ve also teamed up with some of the sweetest and most beautiful blogger babes I know to give you some inspiration on what to wear on February 14.
Cody and I are major foodies and winos. When we are celebrating anything, big or small, we are getting dressed up and heading to a restaurant to go to town on food and libations. I’m in the process of putting together a list of our favorite date-night restaurants in Dallas—so I won’t spill my entire list just yet—but for this Valentine’s Day, we want to try somewhere new. Dallas always has somewhere new and fun to grab a bite to eat, so the options are endless.
Americano isn’t the newest restaurant on the block, but it is new for Cody and I, so that’s where we’ll be headed for our Valentine’s Day dinner. I’ve been craving a cheeseboard for at least a month, and I hear Americano has one that’s to. die. for. The restaurant is in downtown, which will be a nice change from where we typically run around in uptown. We’ll finish our evening off by heading to a restaurant we frequent at least once a week, Eureka, for their delicious apple crisp and ice cream dessert.
This is my first Valentine’s Day as a married woman, so I am all too familiar with making plans for an epic Galentine’s Day. I adore my husband, but I’m also a huge proponent of getting all dolled up to have a night on the town with your girlfriends. The ladies in the post are super talented and have impeccable taste, so I thought you all might like to see how we’ve taken the concept of “Valentine’s Day” and turned it into an outfit. See my friends’ looks up close and personal:
No matter what you’re doing this Valentine’s Day, I hope you have a blast (and look fabulous, of course). 😉
