Classic Winter Style

Somehow, it’s the first day in December. I don’t know where the time goes, but I’m excited about Christmas and New Year’s Eve weekend. We’re still anxiously awaiting cooler weather here in Dallas, so since you really never know if it’s going to be hot or cold here, I’ve been wearing a lot of layers lately. With that, I wanted to share a new look with you guys that is simple, easy, and versatile for in-between weather.

Dress: Nordstrom (Less than $50) // Coat: Topshop // Earrings: Baublebar // Boots: Marc Fisher // Bracelets: Baublebar // Necklace: Nordstrom

This is a great dress. It has the most flattering little wrap detail that cinches at the waist, which I love. The long sleeves are perfect for this time of year, but the fabric is still light enough to wear on a warmer day. It comes in three colors, including this wine option, blue, and a floral print. Plus, it is less than $50. It doesn’t get much better than that!

I want to mention my earrings for a second, because they are SO FUN. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t love wearing tons of sequins and beads on NYE, these earrings are a fun way to add some sparkle to your look without looking like a disco ball. If you’re a “the more sequins, the better” type of person, then HELLO! These earrings were made for you. They come in pink, black, and teal. Go for the black option if you’re looking for some subtle sparkle.

Over-the-knee boots are what I live for this time of year. I have an entire post dedicated to OTK boots for less than $100, so if you’re looking for an affordable option, check out that post here.

On a personal note, we are getting closer and closer to the big home reveal. I’ve been frantically trying to buy furniture, curtains, rugs, etc. over the past couple of weeks since we moved from a tiny apartment. We get our dining table in next week, so we are getting SUPER CLOSE! I can’t wait to share our fixer-upper with you guys, so stay tuned for an announcement on the reveal.

Have a fantastic weekend, beauties!
